Basic Info of Butterfly Valve Handles
The butterfly valve handle has a relatively narrow installation range, and is usually configured on centerline butterfly valves with a diameter of ≤250 and a maximum diameter of 300.
Otherwise, the butterfly valve torque may be greater than the operator’s torque, resulting in the valve not being able to open.
Paraments of Butterfly Valve Handles
| Material | Features |
| Catbon Steel | for industrial applications where high strength is required. cheap, durable and wear-resistant, but have poor corrosion resistance and require regular rust prevention treatment |
| Stainless Steel | for corrosive environments such as chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industries. |
| Aluminium | Used where lightweight yet strong handles are needed, Strong pressure resistance, beautiful appearance and long service life |
| Ductile Iron | Often used in cost-sensitive industrial applications. |
| Casting Iron | cheaper and lighter, but are prone to deformation |
